Stress Takes It’s Toll…

The day started fine, but after I got back from Chinese school, my mom was all of a sudden MAD AS HELL. She got so mad at me because my room was a mess (uh, not really), and started slamming drawers, making me tidy up. My room is FINE! It is not messy, you should see all average teenagers rooms. And then, I apologized and she seemed to calm down. Then, my dad tries to joke, lighten up the mood, and she gets mad all over again.
After she picks up my brother from Science Olympiad, she goes to watch TV downstairs. Then my dad comes down, talking to her nicely and trying to be funny again. She gets mad and scream at him for not working on the taxes. My dad is good-natured and tried to calm her down, but she got pissed even more. My dad is wierd sometimes and says stupid things like, “Taxes are not important.” My mom promptly answered with “STUPID” And my dad lost his temper too. “You’re too stressed!” Everything went downhill from there.

This only happened once, and it did not turn out well. It ended with a stay at a friend’s, a lot of tears, and a ruined Thanksgiving holiday. Hopefully this will turn out better than I think it will.

On the bright side, I finished my map. And got straight A’s. That’s about it.
